The Tour

Spacio Amatista is located at the origins of the Pre-Andes and the ancient Elqui Valley, where the real domains of Diaguitas nation. At the historical street in the picturesque Diaguitas village, declared as typical zone by the Monuments Council, at the foot of the sacred and pyramidal Mamalluca Mountain, stand out Spacio Amatista, a lush garden, wellness center, and natural astronomical observatory. In a personalized and intimate tour, you will observe several stellar objects that will be identified and explained with advanced telescopes and guides. You will learn about the origins, composition, and the discovery history of these cosmic events. After an exciting observation, you will have an astrowellness experience under the starry night resting over yoga mats with thermal blankets watching the milky way and learning about the physiochemical components and the similarities between the human body and the stars, all of this accompanied with a session of sound therapy, gongs and quartz singing bowls to enhance relaxation, the harmonization of inner energy chakras and your connection with the universe. Starting the tour, you will taste local wine or nectar, and at the end, there will be a photography session of the objects and visitors under the starry night.

Itinerary

• Departure from La Serena to the Elqui Valley, stopping in the city of Vicuña to then arrive at Diaguitas village and Spacio Amatista Observatory.
• Introduction to the astronomical tour tasting local wines or nectar juices.
• Astronomical observation and scientific description of numerous stellar objects using electronic telescopes and a deep space camera to photograph the objects.
• Astrowellness speech (Star Dust), sound therapy and relaxation with gongs and quartz bowls resting over yoga mats with thermal blankets under the starry night.
• Photographic session of the visitors under the galaxy and Southern sky objects.
• Stellar objects to observe: Planets, clusters, galaxies, nebulae, dual stars, supernova remnants, blue giants, red dwarfs, among others.
