The Program
Coquimbo is a truly amazing unique region, surrounded and protected by the giant Atacama, the driest desert in the world; Aconcagua, the highest mountain in America; The Pacific, the largest ocean on the planet, and the Andes, the longest mountain range on earth, has a great diversity of climates, natural resources, and cultural treasures that, born from soils of infinite minerals and skies of great luminosity and transparency, since immemorial times, have connected its inhabitants with the sun, the sea, the mountains and the center of our galaxy.
Thousand-year-old forests from the ice age and islands with white sand beaches, turquoise waters, cacti flora and fauna of penguins, whales, dolphins and numerous seabirds, coexist in front of pyramidal mountains full of minerals, precious stones, snow and magnetism, creating ancient rivers, valleys and magical human settlements that inspired the creation of amazing cultural treasures and the foundation of the oldest city on the Chilean coast, La Serena. The art of the Diaguitas, the legacy of the Incas, the origins of Chilean wine and pisco, the literature of Gabriela Mistral, the astronomical observatories and her exploration of the universe together with its mystical and esoteric travelers and inhabitants have given life to Coquimbo, the Region of Riches.
Program includes:
- Transfer in/out Airport-Terminal/Hotel/Airport-Terminal.
- 4 night accomodation in double or matrimonial room with private bathroom and country breakfast at Hostal Boutique Terra Diaguitas or similar with welcome papaya sour or soft drink.
- City Tour La Serena, Coquimbo and Totoralillo´s beach.
- Tour to the Elqui Valley (lunch with drinks, pisco tasting and tickets).
- Tour to the Humboldt National Reserve Island (Chañaral de Aceituno or Damas island)
- Stargazing tour in Natural Astronomical Observartory.
