Program Details

Un viaje único y trascendente encuentro con las fuerzas naturales que dieron vida a las sorprendentes culturas y paisajes de Chile y el Cono Sur: Aconcagua, Coquimbo, Atacama, los Andes, el Pacifico y los Gigantes de América. Exploraremos los lugares donde se funda Santiago y La Serena, las ciudades mas antiguas de Chile habitadas numerosas culturas indígenas, una de ellas la mas belicosa del continente, los indomables Mapuches de Chile, los guardianes del Aconcagua. Visitaremos maravillosos lugares de una belleza natural y cultural única, recorreremos playas, bosques, montañas, islas, valles, históricas ciudades, pintorescos pueblitos y monumentos que se convierten en los verdaderos Gigantes de América. Conoceremos los paisajes donde habitaron únicas en su tipo quienes se enfrentan a la llegada de osados conquistadores, clérigos y piratas dando vida a Chile, Coquimbo, la Región de Riquezas y los Gigantes de América.

Day 1

• City Tour Santiago and visits: Museum of Memory, Casa La Moneda, Pre-Columbian Museum and the mysterious Church of the Augustinians to end at Cero San Cristóbal.

Day 2

• City Tour Cerros de Valparaíso and Casa La Sebastiana by Pablo Neruda.
• Wine Tasting at Bodegas RE.
• Zapallar and Cachagua tour and arrival at Los Andes.

Day 3

• Ascensión por Paso los Libertadores a Monte Aconcagua.
• Visita Bodega de Vinos Errazuriz, ganador Cata de Berlin.
• Noche en Pichidangui.

Day 4

• Coastal walk to the Quintrala cave, where one of the most feared women in history took refuge.
• Visit Hacienda Los Condores to discover one of the best Olive Oils in the World.
• Arrival at quartz mines and rest on beds of this crystal.
• Arrival at Caimanes, the first conquistador camp in the history of Chile.
• Arrival to Coquimbo.

Day 5

• City Tour La Serena – Coquimbo and Conquerors and Pirates Route: Guayacan, Totoralillo, Tongoy, Andacollo.
• Astronomical Observatory Tour

Day 6

• Shaman Molle Route: Coquimbo Valley, Antakari Route, Rio Hurtado Valley, Pichasca Monument, Valle del Encanto Monument, Fray Jorge Forest National Park, Limari River mouth.

Day 7

• Departure from La Serena towards the Great Elqui Valley.
• Visit the city of Vicuña and towns of Montegrande and Pisco Elqui.
• Visit pisco distillery and wine tasting Viñedos de Alcohuaz.
• Night in Pisco Elqui.

Day 8

• Visit Valles de Alcohuaz and Cochiguaz (optional Horseback Riding).
• Descend towards the coast and travel to Punta de Choros.

Day 9

• Navigation Humboldt Penguin National Reserve. Gaviotas, Choros and Damas Island (walk).
• Heading towards the Atacama Region, exploration of the archaic coast of the Llanos del Challe National Park and night in reeds.

Day 10

• Continuation of the Atacama coast route, arrival at Bahía Inglesa and paleontological park.
• City Tour through Caldera and visit Obispito Las Lisas archaeological site.
• Sunset in Pán de Azúcar National Park.

Day 11

• Exploration Pán de Azucar National Park.
• Stop at the Mano del Desierto sculpture.
• Arrival and stay in San Pedro de Atacama.

Day 12

• Visit Pukara de Quitor, Catarpe Ruins and Tulor Village.
• Sunset in Valley of the Moon.
• Night in San Pedro.

Day 13

• Tatio Geysers Tour.
• Sunset Desert Library

Day 14

• Altiplanic Lagoons Tour.
• Free afternoon.
• End of the program.
