The Destiny – The Place

The Limari Valley has a nature of extreme climatic and geographical transition of attractive resources that thousands of years ago enchanted primitive tribes and nomads from the Atlantic and the Amazon area, surprised by the precious stones, the Pacific coast and its ancient oceanic forests. The main refuge of this culture was the Enchanted Valley, a hidden semi-arid ravine and beautiful natural space considered the most important artistic, astronomical and ceremonial precolumbian center in Chile due to its attractive and strategic location, geomorphology, dry atmosphere and variety of slopes, flora and fauna. Its large granit stones with mysterious engravings, paintings and mortars teach the amazing art, the rituals and the worldview of the oldest shamanic culture of the Coquimbo Region Prehistory: the Molles.

Itinerary

• Departure from La Serena towards the south to Limari Valley and its capital the city of Ovalle.
• Tour thtough Ovalle city and visit to the Archaeological Museum of Limari.
• Arrival and exploration to the National Archaeological Monument “The Enchanted Valley”.
• Lunch at a traditional restaurant or snack at the Valle del Encanto archaeological site.
• Return to La Serena.

Tour include

Transfer in/out, specialized guide, tickets and lunch menu (starter, main course and dessert) with several options of plates and drinks to choose.
